The Pursiut of Wonder

Dear p.s. pals,

Welcome, I write to connect through a slower form, think of it as a pen-pal-to-community exchange inspired by creation, storytelling, and the art of pondering. This space is an invitation to pause, sit with our thoughts, and join in a kind of community meditation. Here, our stories can be held, shared, and connected. Thank you for showing up with your truth and for honoring the truth of your community.

As a traveler, I’ve found great joy in connecting through social media, but I’ve also noticed how overstimulating and draining it can be. So, I’ve decided to step back and place my energy into slower, more genuine acts of connection. I invite us all to rediscover pleasure in these simple acts, whether it’s sharing tea with a friend, walking slower, or noticing when we feel uncomfortable in social situations and, instead of reaching for our devices, sitting with that discomfort. Within those raw moments lies the truth of life. It’s there that we can begin to alchemize our pain into beauty.

To gather in this way is a brave act, an act of stepping beyond fear and isolation, and choosing trust, presence, and wonder as we ponder.

For this first blog post, the theme is “The Pursuit of Wonder.” How do you find wonder in your life, and how are you taking action to pursue it? Feel free to respond in the form of story, short thought, poetry…

p.s. this space is meant to remain respectful and non-judgmental, a place where we can practice the art of receiving and giving creation and knowledge. If you’d like, write as though you are writing to a friend or loved one. Cheers to the adventure as we find pleasure in the process.

Love,
M
